Red and Blue Review Title Card Soul Eater

Though we won't be doing Soul Eater for a long time, and even longer time still since Red is going back to collage soon I've had this drawn since the idea came to mind, and finished coloring this today. Red and Intern have approved my color chooses and even my design elements to its here guys when we need it.

I tried really hard to copy the soul eater style the best I could, and for me actually trying I think I did a pretty alright job. I used a picture of the Thomson sisters as a reference, because Patty and I have about the same build (okay she's skinnier I'm realistic) and about the same hair style and are both...insane. Red and Liz are also around the same build with similar hair styles though they don't act a like in the slightest so I don't even know why I mentioned it before. I also used Maka for Red, but mostly around the eyes. Shading was a little harder for me, because I noticed Soul Eaters style for shading (more so in the manga) is very subtle and I'm as subtle as a mad man riding a rhino naked down time square in new york city. (sorry to those with vivid imaginations). It was difficult.

The weapon is a club by the way...I feel that its kind of hard to tell. I wanted to give it some spikes and some fancy designs plus adding my chicken in there randomly was pretty fun xD I thought it was funny. I don't know why I picked a club...maybe because its easier to draw someone coming out of it rather than a sword or a mallet like I was originally going to go with, I feel that it kind of shows off my personality better, or at least blues personality. By the gods is she blunt.

Oh and ignore the fact that I still can't draw hands! I'm getting better at it...
